What is Kybella?

Kybella is an FDA-approved treatment that is a series of injections used to improve the appearance of fat below the chin, also known as submental fat, in adults. It requires little to no recovery time and is used as an alternative to liposuction surgery, which is much more invasive.

How does Kybella work?

The Kybella injection consists of manmade deoxycholic acid, which mimics what your body makes to help break down and digest fat cells.

After your injections, the Kybella solution damages fat cells in the targeted area and over time, your body’s immune system removes these destroyed cells. After the treatment, you see a noticeable, and best of all, a permanent difference in the shape of your chin.

What can I expect from a Kybella treatment?

Before starting any treatments, our team will assess your chin and understand your goals to suggest the right number of sessions for you. The number of sessions you need depends on the shape of your chin and the distribution of fat.
